We are pleased to inform you again that SCIA has realized a healthy autonomous increase of 20%! The effort of our employees and the confidence of our customers in our innovative power are clearly at the bottom of this.

We believe that this trend will persist in the following years. There are two main reasons for this.

First of all practically every European country will switch to the new Eurocodes (between 2007 – 2010), including the national application documents. "Think Global" and "Act Local" are an absolute hit.
It is our priority to support our customers completely in achieving this.

A second reason is B.I.M. (Building Information Modeling); "B.I.M. is the next big change in construction", that is how the Belgian association of engineers announced a symposium in the past trimester. Information Modeling leads to significant process improvement in the construction industry. Before 1983 all design data exchange was still done on paper; from 1983 to 2002 CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) and CAD (Computer Aided Design) were introduced and today it is impossible to imagine life without it. As from 2003 the trend to 3D Modeling with different integrated data such as specifications, technical calculations, quantities, costs, etc. is on the move.
